WebMilkyWay
WebMilkyWay builds startups that solve problems others can't or won't solve. From ambitious prototypes to production-ready web products.
Popular apps like Duolingo are great for beginners, but they are not built for people who need to quickly expand their vocabulary for real goals. Students preparing for universities abroad, language exams, or relocation often need to learn from real articles, books, and websites.
I started building VocabCore when I was 15 after facing this problem myself. Thousands of students from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and other post-Soviet countries experience the same challenge while learning English, German, French, Norwegian, and other languages for studying abroad.
The browser extension lets users highlight unfamiliar words on websites like BBC and save them directly to a personal dictionary with a single click. This keeps the learning process simple and uninterrupted.
VocabCore also helps learners connect with people from other countries for language practice and language exchange. To build confidence in real conversations, the platform includes AI roleplay where users can practice as a tourist, an international student, and in many other everyday situations. An AI tutor is also available to answer questions, improve writing, and practice natural conversations.
The platform also helps high school students prepare for international exchange programs such as AFS, Rotary Youth Exchange, FLEX, and YFU through practice interviews, situational tasks, language exercises, and AI-powered feedback.
Our goal is simple: to make language learning practical, efficient, and focused on real-world communication.
